A bit about me
My father was full blooded Irish while my mother was half German, half British Isles, which makes me three quarters Irish with some English thrown in for good measure. The German influences contribute to my mathematical, linear thinking while my Irish contribute to my meandering thoughts. It seems I can never or rarely answer a question without the long meandering answer. I get that from my father. I could never figure that part about my father until we flew to Ireland in 2001.
When you fly over Ireland you see there are no straight roads anywhere. The landscape is full of curves. On closer inspection at ground level the reason for this are the boundaries are made up of rock walls, hand set. Long and short of my answers are found in the meandering lines of the Irish landscape and the story telling of home.
The funny thing is that my father was very good at math while my mother was artistic. She was more prone to be very level headed with a wicked sense of humor while my father could be a bit stubborn but had the best belly laugh! Memories of home are very rich and plentiful, as I hope yours are as well!
